Quiet Community in the Hills - 9/3/2019
We retired here from Maine about 5 years ago to leave the cold & damp behind. Here it is warm & dry most of the time, little humidity, not many flies, mosquitoes, etc. Also very quiet with large lots for a lot of privacy unlike Green Valley where it's like living in the suburbs- houses jammed in everywhere! We have beautiful mountain views too & the altitude of about 3500' makes it cooler here than in the Valley. But we don't have all the infrastructure that GV has- no community pools, activities, etc. Home prices are considerably lower too. Neighbors are cordial but not overbearing so it can be a bit lonesome. But if you don't mind that, then you'll enjoy it here. We
